Welcome to the family

I have held back from this post for about 5 weeks now and its killed me, i was planning on holding it back longer but i couldnt wait anymore.

A while back at work i was on a break and chatting to a guy i very rarely speak to, turns out this guy was a wedding shooter for about 35 years shooting mainly with big medium format film cameras, On telling him im interested in photography and particularly film and really like medium format he explained he had a few old ones lying around he would be happy to give me, He wasnt sure if they still worked (but since tested and they do) but said i could have them anyway, he has also offered to teach me how to use them best and how to use light meters, lighting ratios, composition and photography in general STOKED!!!

anyways these are the 2 he has given me and says there are 2 more Mamiyas he will hand over (fingers crossed)

A Mamiya RB67 the "workhorse" of fashion and portrait photography
And a Bronica Zenza (it has a pretty sweet handle with trigger style shutter button"
i was planning on posting this when i had shot a roll on one so i could show the results too but i just couldnt wait that long i got them last friday and am halfway though the first rolls

Cant wait to see the results, ill keep you posted
